SHARON CUNETA TO RELEASE “MUSIKA AT PAGIBIG” IN NOVEMBER

Megastar Sharon Cuneta is set to release a new album this November entitled “Musika at Pag-ibig.”

SHARON CUNETA (Musika at Pag-Ibig) album cover

The album will include Sharon’s own version of well-loved OPM songs namely Eto Na Naman (Gary Valenciano), Bakit Ba Ganyan? (Dina Bonnevie), Sa Isip Ko (Agot Isidro), Nais Ko (Side A), Sarangola Sa Ulan (Gary Granada), Suwerte Suwerte Lang (Joel Navarro), You’re My You (Nyoy Volante), Habang Atin Ang Gabi (South Border), Show Me A Smile (Apo Hiking Society), Sana Naman (Side A) Iniibig Kita (James Coronel), Tuloy Pa Rin (Neo Colors), Magbalik Ka Na Mahal (Kuh Ledesma), and Paalam.

Here’s a peek of Sharon’s liner notes:

These aren’t my own songs. This is a collection of some of those I grew up listening to and loving, and songs I came across a bit later that I just fell in love with. When the idea came up at Sony for an all-revivals OPM album, the hardest part for me was choosing which of my favorites to delete from my (very long) short list!

“Musika at Pag-ibig” is Sharon’s seventh album under Sony Music and her follow-up to “Children’s Rhymes and Lullabies” released last May.
